Swansea, MA Geek Fest 2012
Had a great day yesterday at the first annual Swansea, MA Geek Fest hosted by Bob D. (Signguy). The weather was perfect!

you did miss a great day sweaty. To answer your question about the fleet, there were 10 total multiwii setups, one woo kong dji hexacopter, then a local that saw my sign at the road showed up with a tricopter built from the rc explorer website using a KK board.
Seems that everyone wants to do it again, some want to do it monthly!! I think a fall geek fest will work for me, you're always welcome to join in David. We also had a 450 trex doing flips and 3D, and a fox glider that I flew for close to an hour in the morning while relaxing in y chair! Anyone interested in joining us in the fall PM me, I won't have any date till close to the meet, but I'll keep you on my list. Tim, I can't believe you followed my lil' green monster around the field, great camera work! I want to thank everyone that came out for all your help in setting up and helping me with everything. I was exhausted by days end but it was worth it! I hope to be feeling much better by the fall.......... BobD |

Too bad i failed on my end with the video. But not bad for flight #2 on the hexa. So cool to see the air-2-air shots! I will be dialed in and ready for the fall ! |
