To view your region or town, you can zoom in by tapping with your mouse. click on a airplane, and on the left screen you will get all the info. airline, type, speed, altitude in real time, re calculated every 10 seconds. on some you can also click on 'view from the cockpit UNBELIEVABLE! |

I ran across this cool video of a MIT mechanical engineering prof in the early 1960’s showing the difference in drag between an airflow, rectangle, and rod. The rod is the same thickness as the airfoil and the drag force difference is amazing. I find it neat on the simplicity of the experiment with a spring scale, balance beam, and oil bucket dampener. (read egghead) There are many other videos in the Fluid dynamics series.
