If anyone out there has an expired Sirius/XM radio in their car, they are offering a free listening event from January 30th through Feb 12th. I believe this means that you will be able to pick up Sirius/XM stations for free the next couple of weeks. I know for some people sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but if you have a radio that supports this, give it a try!

It's Done
Here are some pics of my latest project. Can't wait for some warmer weather so I can fire her up. Wish I could make the show and auction, but I have to work this weekend, BUMMER....... Enjoy.

Wish I could, but with solo and ensemble, pinewood derby, awards banquets and summer scout camp, my days are spoken for.. Busy, Busy, Busy.....

I tried with Internet Explorer 64-bit but couldn't get it to work. Then I tried Internet Explorer 32-bit and it works great - pretty cool!

I ran across this cool video of a MIT mechanical engineering prof in the early 1960’s showing the difference in drag between an airflow, rectangle, and rod. The rod is the same thickness as the airfoil and the drag force difference is amazing. I find it neat on the simplicity of the experiment with a spring scale, balance beam, and oil bucket dampener. (read egghead) There are many other videos in the Fluid dynamics series.
