Just to give a little back to the soaring community Jody Miller and I will be at Kennyworld to conduct a Soaring Clinic on Thursday 5th November starting at 1:00pm.
(This is the day before the Tangerine Soaring Championships begins.)
The clinic was requested by a local pilot so if there are any other soaring pilots who would like to improve their contest performance, please come along and join us. We will be giving one on one instruction on these topics:
Sailplane and radio setup.
Launch setup and optimization.
Thermal lift detection.
Landing consistency.
Bring your model and lets have a great time. All are welcome. If you bring your LSF sheets we can help you complete some tasks in the process.

"walk ins" are still welcome at the flying field.

All rounds are 10 minute working time:
1- Ladder, starting at 30, 45, 60...
2- 5X2 (5 two minute flight)
3- 1 2 3 4 any order
4- AULD (three 3 minute flights)
5- Poker
6- Last two flights 4 minute max

Flying starts at 9am Friday

Wait for it, it'll be worth it.

Five rounds of dlg Friday + five more rounds of res Friday + seven rounds of unlimited Saturday + six rounds of unlimited Sunday + the flyofff = very sore And tired me!
Loved it though, we had a blast.
Thanks to all that made the trip, and thanks for all the help.
It was nice to see all the friends, got to meet some new faces also.
