I got a couple of the 3700kv Mercury 64 from http://in2hobbies.com/rcstore/produc...products_id=80 and working on modifying an A10 to fit them. The casing is too large for the A10 foam nacelle compartment.

Hi EPF
I tested my two Mercury 64 3700kv at 5s 4000mah. The first fan ran with 3xfull throttle for each under 10sec. Great performance! Then i testrun the other fan, wich smoked away at 60A/not full throttle. I used the same lipo with only 64% capacity left. Whats going on whith this fan? any idea? |

Hi Stuart,
i was thinking about the timing of my ESC´s. They have a automatic timing wich determines the optimum motor timing, low(7-22deg.) for 2 pole and high(22-30deg.) for 6 and more poles. With the automatc timing the first fan ran without problem. Now i got the other(burnt out) fan and i will testrun it.You are more experienced with this fans, would you recommend the automatic timing? ![]() Thanx for your answer Rudi |
