Sources for LEGIT 300mw 1.3Ghz Transmitters?

Ok, looking for a legit source of 1.3ghz transmitters at the 300mw power or slightly more. Heard alot about fakes etc so thought i'd ask someone who has first hand experience. Looking at this: http://www.readymaderc.com/store/ind...roducts_id=223

Going to be using it with a cloverleaf antenna and a 9dbi patch on the receiver (which i haven't yet brought)

Ready Made RC are good company, www.electronicarc.com is a good source too with good service. LawMate are the best though from reading around. Wish I would have spent the extra for LawMate

I see, how much would you expect to pay for a lawmate?

I wouldn't get a lawmate. I had two with internal soldering/wiring problems. plus the 1W lawmate you constantly have to worry about overheating during testing.

Spektrum and 2km ,possible but don't be surprised if you have problems , look at frsky as a cheap alternative we regularly take that out to 2km.

Hi...I've been running the RMRC 1.3ghz 300mw with their inverted V and optimized patch. So far Ive only wandered out to 3000 feet but it is rock solid.....absolutely no complaints. RMRC is a top notch retailer.

lawmate is a good make but I wouldent bother getting one Bowerz as they have no legal frequencies under the HAM license for UK fpv'ers. The only one you could use is the 1w vtx which has 1280mhz on channel 8 http://www.readymaderc.com/store/ind...roducts_id=437

1w is too much for most people though. As for the other readymaderc vtx's I have the one you linked to in your first post and although I havent tried it out yet, I trust Tim to only stock the best quality electronics he can find. Unfortunatly the selection for 1.3ghz vtx's is not that great.

anything on readymaderc is good and priced well, you don't have to worry about that when ordering from them.

i hear drones vision is in the UK, but i live in the USA, so i've had no dealings with them.

for 1-3km, you don't need more than 300mw.

infact, anymore than 300mw, and you will most likely cause yourself more problems in the form of bad RF, and servo glitches/lockouts.

get a low pass filter for your vTX aswell, to stop it messing with your 2.4ghz control RX.
