Seems like the most important changes are the bigger tail motor, altered frame and tail boom, and some mixing in the new receiver. I wonder if with some of these parts it will be possible to upgrade the Solo Pro as well. And since the heli is over 4 grams heavier, I would expect the main motor to be a little stronger as well.

ah silly me not the height of the actual frame, are u are talking from the ground up to the frame, what differences does the frame have compared to the pro, any difference in the height of the actual frame or length of the main shaft?

the receiver, not the servants mixing .............
only the tail of the pro: 207mm -
the tail of the new model 229mm
the top of the main engine of the only pro is gray with a number marked above 5
whereas the new model: there is no number and the base is white
height and diameter are equal but .......................
the difference in flight I noticed was:
only if the pro turns to the right, stretching a lot and on the left is short
hovering in the new model is able to turn right and left as a coaxial .........

So there is no mixing of the servos when you make a turn, and yet turning left and right won't make the heli drift backwards or forwards on this new heli? That will really help when flying indoor, since this is the thing that suprises pilots that come from flying a coax and make the step up to a Solo Pro. But since the tail rotor has not been placed much higher, I wonder how it is possible it can turn like a coax, without any subtle mixing of elevator with rudder to counter sliding forward or backward in a turn.

So the motor is not bigger, but perhaps it can still be more powerful. I hope so, because scale flight is nice, but you also want to race around with this bird, and when it drops the nose as you pick up speed, you'll need power to keep the heli in the air, certainly with over 4 grams extra weight.

I really dislike internal mixing in the RX, the pilot brain's should do the "mixing" it's called "flying it", with some strange mojo going on in the RX, you have to counteract it and so you learn bad reflexes that will be really hard to undo when you setup to models that react like an helo should do...

I'd go for the 130 Hyperion/Intellect or the TP 160 or TP 125. The 160 Hyperion is almost 1 gram heavier than the stock 120 mAh Nine Eagles batteries. They do have power, but the extra weight offsets some of that. The 130 or TP 160 are almost the same weight as stock, so those are a much better choice, and the TP 125 is about 0.5 gram lighter than stock battery, a weight cut that might make flight times close to the TP 160.

@Black moon: I would prefer to be able to enable and disable any mixing, should it be present. Perhaps with the dual rates, indoor means mix on, and outdoor setting means mix off. Inside, in a cramped space, it might help prevent crashes when you can turn like a coax. Outside I wouldn't need it, and it might even hamper good flying.

Yes, never thought about that , really clever.

I agree. I doubt if many pilots use the dual rates anyway. Usually on indoor rate, you don't have enough cyclic authority to get out of a tricky situation anyway. I hope the Nine Eagles engineers thought of the same, or found another way for pilots to disable the mixing, should it be present, since we still don't know if it is. Wasn't there someone with a RX-01 spare receiver? If any mixing is present, it should show itself also when built into a Solo Pro.

Just took a better look at the pictures on the hitecrcd site, and this picture shows it does use the open look links of the V-series.



So they listed the wrong linkage set in the list of spare parts for this heli, and it will use the phase true V-series head.
