I have replied to his post in the AMR thread and emailed him the copy of the old instructions that I have.

Entering programming mode and the programming is a little different for the older ESCs.

I am hesitant to go around and remove wrinkles in the covering because I don't want to end up developing warps from it. Do you have any tips regarding the removing of wrinkles with a hot air gun?
I like to run the 2700 battery it gives you just a little more fly time and punch out.
2700 mah seems to be the perfect size for this airplane.
PA advertises 42 ounce weight impossible to achieve with quality servos.
Sounds like your weight is just perfect it should be light and floaty which is what this airplane is all about.

Just so you know, i was there when we weighted it the first time, and it was with hitec 5085 servos, thrust 40, quantum 45, pa 3s 2200 pack, cf spinner, vortex generators, white wheel pants, vox prop, and yes the weight was 42 oz! and btw i was the one who assembled the plane and flew it in the noon demos at seff and joe nall.... its the one in this video

Are you sure about that number? I did some weighing with my postal scale.
My setup is heavier of course. Comparing PA's advertised weights to mine .5 more for the motor, 1 more for the wires, 1 more for the linkage, .5 more for the battery, .5 more for the esc. gives me 3.5 ounces extra weight. That should put my weight at 45.5 and yet I am 5.5 ounces heavier at over 50. 5.5 ounces is a lot of weight almost another battery. I would need to see a picture or video with a scale showing this 42 ounce weight. Anyone else able to reach the weight of 42 with 5085 servos? If you don't have a scale a lot of times you can take your airplane to the post office and use theirs. "trust but verify"

I agree that the stated weights from most manufactures are slightly optimistic.. Same thing with mpg in cars. YRMV!

So I was able to get 4 packs through the addyx yesterday. I tried a vox 14x7...and was very impressed. I think I like it more than the T40...either way...had a blast.
Got some up close and personal video of harriers and hovers...comming soon to thread near you.

Here's a video of some flying yesterday. It has a little bit of everything.

There was an intermediate 5-10mph wind, had some harrier fun! Enjoy!

Some RC flying on 3/8/14 (8 min 7 sec)
