Fair enough. I think I want to try and stick a setup in a Parkzone Radian. Do you have any plans in the future to make a pod system for that plane?

No plans right now. I haven't seen a lot of folks using that plane. Maybe eventually if I get so caught up that I'm looking for something to do. The problem is that I have to purchase the plane or at least a fuselage to design the pod to fit it. Then I have to find the time to draw up the design and get a test batch cut. There's not a huge incentive to do that unless the demand is there. If there's more interest from others as well i may consider it.

Well I'll gladly provide the plane if and when you are ready. Since we are only about an hour and 45 away from each other it should not be a big deal.

Just thought i would chime in. The Radian is a great FPV platform if you want a quick and easy setup. I use one as well.

FYI: the Easy Glider pod has been updated to work on ALL easy gliders, now including the "non" pro style. Just requires taking a very small chunk off of the tab at the back of the canopy area.

If anyone purchased the old style pod and needs it to fit this style Easy Glider, send me a PM or e-mail.

One of my customers did some modifications and was able to install the Easy
Star pod in a Wild Hawk. He sent me some pictures and gave me permission to post them here. Thanks Lance!

I just stumbled upon this thread. Seems like there has been no activity for a while. When using a 500 MW system is there that much of a difference between the HXT900's and the "name brand" servos. Because I'd rather not put up an extra $50 for no apparent reason. Just wondering. -Tyler

Sort of depends on your installation. In my current setup, the VTx is in the wing and I never have any problem with the HXT900s. Event when I had a EZ* with the pod configuration, my installation worked fine. I have/had ferrite cores on servo wires.

It's a round magnet where you wrap your wires. It helps with RF noise suppression. "Maxwell laws etc."

As long as the wiring is done properly, you have a good antenna on the VTX, and adding a ferrite ring doesn't hurt, the HXT900's are fine. Now...that said...I've switched to using Turnigy 9g servos for the "budget" system. No problems at all with 900Mhz. They are a little bit slower, but they appear to be very good.
