DECAL EMERGENCY! HELP!

OK, I got my Callie Graphics decals in the mail today for my big Hellcat. I went to apply the roundel to the fuselage side. It is covered in styrospray and painted with krylon spraypaint.

The decal WOULD. NOT. STICK.

Is there anything you guys use to make decals stick to your models? I'm looking more for knowledgeable answers, more than guess work as we are running out of time.

I would use white glue, or any kind of regular spray adhesive.

"Normal" 3M super 77 works for me, but make sure you place it where you want it.

You mean you guys are spray gluing the vinyl decals before applying them? I've used 77 spray all the time on paper decals so I'm familiar with the product.

First, though, I'm gonna try painting a liquid varnish over the fuselage with a brush rather than spray varnish unless you guys tell me that's a bad idea.

I sprayed varnish on the fuselage yesterday, but I discovered something-

The GREY area of the fuselage is repelling the decals, but the BLUE area of the fuselage is NOT.

So it's something to do with that grey paint.

Um. seriously guys.

So a funny thing happened to me this afternoon during a test using an old ESC which I KNOW worked on 6S in the past and yada yada yada, long story short, I really NEED an ESC that can handle 5S. By tomorrow yeah? Sunday at latest? 60 amp or better?

I know some of you have ESCs that can run on 5S and maybe I can borrow something just to maiden this thing?

I never got the package from Rob that was supposed to have my 5S ESC and now I'm literally begging to borrow someone's ESC for the flight tomorrow. Needs Dean's male connection.

Can anyone just loan me one for the morning? I'm out of options after this weekend.

EDIT- I may have an option from Ricky D, but in case that fails, if anyone wants to speak up help yourself, thanks!

BEC Stands for Battery Eliminating Circuit right? Which just means you need a RX pack, right? I always use RX packs on something this big. Or do I misunderstand?
