Dynam RC Planes

I just finished reading a post on the Next Durafly plane posting and one of the postings indicates that Dynam Planes are about to cease production.

Apparently Dynam will be concentrating on making RC plane parts.

Is this just one person's wild rumour or is there some truth to Dynam no longer making RC planes?

Would hate to see Dynam's demise. Most of their planes are a great starter plane and can also be easily upgraded to be made even better flying planes.

If that's true, order your Dynam WACO from Motion RC now. Don't use the cheap mystery
Detrum speed control and check the Detrum servos. The Detrum brushless motor is OK . Read the lengthy thread on the WACO in the Parkflyers forum . WACO is easy to fly yet very aerobatic.

Dynam - Still in the game

It seems as though this is a case of a false rumour.

Tom at Motion RC apparently confirmed that Dynam actually moved from one factory to another factory in another City. So there will be some down time but Dynam is still in the RC plane business.

Great news, Now to find out who started the rumour.....

I was going to say. They just released a few new planes within the last month. I find it hard to believe they'd pull the plug after that kind of investment.

It certainly was not my intention to add to the rumour, however, when I came across the posting I had no idea if it was true or not.

By asking the question on this forum I knew I would then find out.

So excuse me for asking. I am sure that I was not the only person concerned with the rumour.

FYI, I have a number of Dynam Planes and if the Dynam line was about to cease I would have bought a bunch of donor planes to ensure a parts supply for the planes that I do have. At last count it was close to a dozen planes.

A set of donor planes would have been very costly, Thankfully the rumour was false.
