Steve, this is the most impressive machine I have ever built from your plans.

Glad you're enjoying it, Wobisch! Nice video, too. WOW, that tree was a close call! Now let's see some on-board video of a Cobra and some tumbling maneuvers...

Excellent Wobisch! A little something like a tree isn't going to take down a Flanker!

Thanks guys!

To be honest, the in-air effect of the missiles is less then the bench-effect . My previous build also had the missiles, I had one nice mid-air release but 2 missiles didn't come loose immediately and ended up in the bushes - see this video. And since they don't touch the ground with a big kaboom it's just a nice idea over an impressive performance. Building it is utterly cool ofcourse

I've found discreetfire's "pimp my ride" F-14 a very inspiring build, but getting these details right is such work! Though I'm very happy with the result (and compliments!), still there's so much to improve (and which I wont be spending my time on anymore )

Fantastic work, Splinter! The missile detail is a really nice touch, and well thought out. Let us know how the maiden flight goes!

May I ask how did you create the missile drop system?
