I am looking for a motor that can I can put 12s on to spin a prop

I have a foremost, i know people put turbines and edf systems, BUT I want to put a prop to make a pusher with a electric motor. IF anyone has done such thing or know of a inexpensive electric motor on 12s that can put out enough power to fly it it would be great help.

Here is one that a feller in the review section is running on 12s. Wouldn't call it cheap though.

There are pleanty of electric motors designed to operate on 12 cells, they are all very large motors and so not exactly 'cheap'

About the lowest cost one I can find: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ner_Motor.html

Errrrm, yes. Exactly. I would rather have that plane be unflyable, or be destroyed shortly after takeoff, than have it get up and fly around in a crowded public park. At some point, common sense has to come into play.

If I knew beyond any sliver of a doubt that you'd be flying it safely in a controlled area, I'd feel much more comfortable about offering advice on how to get it flying. Based on your past record, I feel extremely uneasy about offering any advice on putting yet another model in the air knowing you've done things like that in the past.

For those who don't bother to click on the link:
