The forum software will resize it, you have to upload to n external host to retain high res, e.g. Photo bucket, or try zipping it and then posting as attachment

Jacko, that 10x17 propp would kick some in a right motor/gearbox @3-4kw

About the logger in ICE, yeah, you cant take it serious, thats for sure..
I will measure with a +10000 Dollar instrument wich I can borrow(it is in my school where I read to electric engineer), just to get a referense number and compare to my logger..

And what about a 3-blade or 4-blade with that one?

What I think would be the best propp for speed in a Plane like this, would be a 7x10 or simular, maybee even up to 7x12-13, you would get very good pitchspeed at the cost of average amps..

And I dont think anyone has done this sizes in carbon folding ..

Maybee one should start learning how to make carbon propps

HI all!
The 10x17 is a design of Ralph Okon and was build by me! The one Reisenauer sells is a copy of our prop, where he changed the angle of the root, which is better for folding on the fuse but should reduce performance of the computer designed prop which is build in cnc-cut aluminium molds to the bad side!
The original Croco-speedprops in different sizes are only avaiable from Ralph Okon or me! And yes, the props work very well as 3- or 5 bladed ones which shows the success of Ralph fastet 4 Flap Hotliner Chimera (build by me) which had an average of 381 km/h at the Speedcontest in Dachau, with the fastet flight over 400 km/h at very low noise!

@sebbe
Not right! We have a 7x13 and 8x12,5 carbon folder which works very well also above 400 km/h ;-)!

Thanks for bringing the Chimera to town, M. I had some sleepless nights because of that one some months ago when it was posted on the "Video of the fastest..." thread. I will have a few more of those now, thank you
That design is still "unobtanium" to the public, like as the Fluxkompensator still is, right?

Hi Arcteryxxx!
Yes, the chimera is at the moment still "unobtanium", i have only build three so far (one for Ralph and two for me), but i have designed two new speedplanes this year, we are working on the molds at the moment called Typhoon and Typhoon XS!
IŽll write a building story here at ezonemag soon!
Perhaps some of these planes will be custommade for some guys if i find time!
So be continued! The fuse mold for the Typhoon will be finished this weekend, stab mold is still done and the plug for the wing is nearly finished!

Ciao, Marcus

Haha great minds.

When I saw those 10x17's, I thought damn that'd look cool on the front as a 3 bladed prop on the Xplane

Who makes a 32~33mm 3 bladed spinner?

Marcus, do you have a website? Interested in your props, possible now and in the future
