I will go thru his threads and see what I can find. What is his "user name " here on RCG?

I found him and read thru his F-84 build so I understand what and how he did the glass fuse. I had done this on a nacelle so I am familiar with the technique. I will probably take this approach. Now on to cutting bulkheads out for the fuse. Hope to get going shortly after Christmas.

I was going thru a lot of my photos and I came across a number of A-4 photos that I took when I visited the National Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola in 2012 so I thought I would post some here for anyone interested.

This first group is the A-4 hanging overhead in the entrance.

Here is the next batch. These are of the Blue Angels 4 ship hanging in an overhead area high above the second floor of the main building.

Another Batch of Photos

I know this is the A-4 thread but when looking over my photos I came across some photos of a couple of aircraft carriers that were made by volunteers for the museum so I thought I would share them. The level of detail is really impressive. If memory serves, the carriers were about 12-13 ft. long and took the volunteers about 5 years to build.

I apologize for the lights in the background in the photos of the Enterprise but couldn't help it.

Hope you enjoy them for the modeling exercise that they are.

I totally agree! Unfortunately I never had a chance to see the Blues perform with the A4's.

I would go every year to El Toro and Mira Mar to see them. Loved the polished aluminum inlets For sure they were very special planes. As cool as the Hornets are they were no match for airshow demos against the Scooters! I think to this day is why the A-4 is still my favorite jet

First Time I saw the Angels they were in the F-4's. It was in 1973 and I was 7. I will never forget it, that was the day I fell in love with flying.
