Looks the same to me. The angle of the photo can be misleading.

I guess it will have to wait until someone does a back to back comparison to be 100% sure but I've not seen anything that makes me think there are any significant differences. The only difference of any type I've been able to spot is that the HK version appears to have a couple of stiffeners running across the rear of the canopy, the 3DHS Slick just has solid sheet balsa infill on the back of the canopy.

And the carbon horns on the HK version.

I think it was me who said the canopy was back, I wasn't comparing to the AJ, I was comparing to HK's original Slick 360 design...

Might those carbon horns be more brittle than the 3DHS ones? (which are kevlar I think?) I'd be scared they could snap or maybe they're an improvement?

Well, I'd like to fly it. I think the color scheme looks sharp!! I bet there is a lot of other people that like the color scheme too. To each his own. lol Let us see, hummmm, got 40 planes in the hanger now, what to do ,what to do.

I don't think the scheme is that bad, to be honest. But it's not that good either. Get rid of the yellow and green and it would look better.

I've never seen the real mccoy in person, but I downloaded the manual from the HK product page and it seems fishy. I'm sure the plane is a 3DHS plane.

I'm not complaining, and will seriously consider this McSlick after I crash my current slick.
