Well i got bored and decided to strip off the good parts from my crashed 450 v2 and re-build my pro, took a couple of hours, but motor and esc were quickly transplanted back over, then spent some time with the swash leveling tool (such a handy thing) got the swash nicely level, then used the broken blades so i could set the pitch, and got it spot on mid stick 0 degree and 11 degree on each end, was pretty much spot on
i also have it programmed on my new DX6, so i have much more adjustment options

all i need is a set of main blades and she should be good for a re-maiden hover

down side, most everywhere will be closed now till about 6th jan

I keep a pair of broken blades, which I've trimmed down, for similar setup. Dead handy - although I always do a final check for zero pitch with full blades, folded parallel. More accurate than my pitch gauge.

When i set up my HK-450 i put paint stir sticks sideways into the grips. So i could see the angle works great. Why buy a pitch gauge

that's another great idea. i have a pitch gauge, but sometimes just eyeball the blade angle anyway. the sideways sticks will give a much better view.
