Ater trying one out at a shopping mall vendor I purchased one as a Christmas present. However after less than two minutes of run time it refused start rotors except for an occasional bump start. I checked battery charge and controller output with a digital camera and both appear to be OK. It did not suffer any hard crashes in the short time it ran so I'm pretty disapointed with quality so far. Does anyone have experience with this problem or with warranty claims with Syma? I know parts are available but with shipping a new circuit board is only 10 dollars less than a new helicopter.

Hi, gear. The forum title is a little misleading. 'Mini' is actually medium-large. There are a lot more Syma flyers in the 'Coaxial' forum.

I have 2 107s but I haven't had problems with them to say what is happening with yours. Could be as simple as a bad battery, not expensive to fix. But of course on a brand new undamaged product you shouldn't have to be fixing it.

Go ask under Coaxial, they've seen more of these faults than I have.
