The Solo Pro 328 blades? How different from the stock blades are they performance-wise?

ahhh, another idea for the round file. someday i'll get a good scale canopy for my 120sr.

The other option is for you to buy my A-300. I have the heli and a TON of parts that just sit around.

I had the little beast out last night and was fighting a slight breeze - doesn't take much. I have the transmitter set to some toned down settings and wasn't out long enough to try the big boy ones. It was definitely lacking in control, so, I can't wait to try it with better settings.

I know what that's like lol. 120's are not big on breezes.

I actually just adjusted it in my Tx to the more advanced settings and WOW- it's so much more responsive! I might change it over to the advanced swash depending on how my flying goes later.

Can't wait to move on to a cp

If you want better handling in the wind, cut 10mm off of the tip of each blade!

I've seen that mod floating around. I may as well try it... it's been so windy this past few days I can't do anything but fight the breeze.

It seemed as if I had just about nothing in the way of forward flight the first time. By going to 100%, it behaved more like what I would expect it to be like. Making left turns, it zips right around; bigger sweeping turns are harder to do. Right turns are very broad and under a lot of power. I guess this is where the term bump stick comes from because it doesn't take much. At least I can fly this thing whereas I could never get a handle on my HBFP. It was a stock transmitter and I had all I could do just to keep it in a controlled hover. I know some of the old timers won't like this remark, but there is a world of difference in Esky and Eflite products. My CX2 is twice the heli of my Lama 4 and this 120SR is twice the heli compared to the HBFP. Control is better and whacky, uncontrollable stuff usually doesn't happen.

Same here with the wind on Sunday, but Saturday morning was great. Up early before the wind...great flight time....My pilot skills aren't there yet with big wind. getting there little by little.
