Wow that is low tech but very effective. I was thinking of permanently putting a GoPro mount in the middle of the wing. (I already have a GoPro 3+)
That being said, I might prefer to risk a $70 camera over a $300 one.
Thanks for the information and pictures!!

You are welcome
That's exactly my thinking too - loosing a $70 camera would hurt much less than loosing a $300 one. The Mobius only weighs like 39g - much lighter than a GoPro. Wouldn't dare try this with that camera!
The putty needs to be like silly putty - rather sticky. I use that handi-tack, or fun-tack (from the school supply aisle). Tear off a small piece, add a drop or two of general purpose oil, and work it in. When it's warm and soft it should be similar to gum on a sidewalk on a hot day. I'm not sure how well it works in cold weather though ... works great in spring/summer/fall though

Does anyone know if the firewall for the S15e fits this plane? The steering arm cracked in half so I have to replace it, but I see that part is only available when ordering a new firewall. And, servicing it requires removal of the firewall. I did remove the firewall - that was fun.

On the S15 it looks like the steering arm can be serviced without taking the firewall off. It would be really nice if it fits the 15e. Has anyone done this?

Thanks for any help
-John

The Apprentice S firewall fits perfect. Much improved over the original.

That's great as I'm considering joining a club that has 'legal' access to a large pond/lagoon for RC flying ....
