You may have mine 1:100 Feldmarschall -- former DOAL cargo/passenger mail ship on the East Africa run.
Still untouched since I bought it 2 years ago -- price is around 1100 euro

Is Baltic-Unicom making their kits or do they simply a marketing company? I came across a thread on MBM that linked to a Russian supplier offering the same exact line, all with some very detailed photos of both kit components as well as finished product.

The website of Baltic Unicom seems dead.
It is well possible that they have moved.

This is the webshop of Manfred (Zinnecker):

He specializes in the Kaiserliche Marine

The parts are manufactured in the Ukraine - this might explain the Russian link.

Hello Nico thank you for the offer about 1:100 Fekdmarschall, It is a verry good model but I like only kits to build the models for my self, My hobby is to build the models not to drive.

Thank you Hans-Peter

there is the Sydney Star container ship, I have one and enjoy sailing it.

There is also the Graupner neptun, a bit too vac formy for my liking but the neppie sails well

No one has mentioned looking on ebay for the old Sterling Scout kit. It may not be the finest model but it is a cargo ship.
