The point I'm trying to make is that cheap isn't better. If you do go with that, don't expect any support. Don't even expect it to work properly when you receive it. Don't expect to be able to get it repaired if anything happens to it.

I use a 4ch+ flight transmitter for my ground vehicles. I have a Dx6i and I just got a Dx8. I'm switching my flying models to my Dx8 and keeping the ground models for my Dx6i.

You want a programmable/computer transmitter for flight. Unless you get a Turnigy 9x, don't expect to get one from Hobbyking. I wouldn't even get name brand items from hobbyking as there is a good chance it is a rebranded or clone item.

With all that said, the minimum flight transmitter I would recommend is a Dx6i. It will be of use until you strt flying really complicated models.

I am making the boat out of plywood it will be approx 10 inches. so i am trying to figure out what electrical equiptment i should use! this is everything i can think of that i will need! is there anything im forgetting to get this boat rtr? has any1 have any suggestions for the blank spaces? thank so much jack
