Hi Tiffany,

I think I (and many others) qualify for the second an third requirement, the first one is something that might be an issue with a lot of fast electric boaters...

Apart from that, do you have some specs of the motor, other than it's availability for testing?

For those among us that race in regulated classes, knowing the KV, ampdraw motorsize etc. are rather important data.

Regards, Jan.

It looks like a 28mm outrunner, I'm going to guess it's around 3000kv based on their smaller one:

Depending on the KV, this could be a really good smaller 3s outrigger motor!

Could be very interesting... if the number has any relevance, 400 could be from the 400 class heli, so yes, around 28mm and based on other motors on the website, there could be kv's around 3000.

Bummer,

A 28 motor is too small for the monohulls I'm running, but my son's mini-hydroplane would fly with 33300 rpm unloaded!

Count me in!

Too small for any of my boats, but as Jan suggested Tiffany, the specs are important
Max Voltage
Max Amps or
Max Wattage
Kv
Shaft size
Physical Size
Number of poles
Timing setting would be nice too.
All that determines what type & size hull it is suitable for.
Paul.

The one on HobbyPartz is a 24mm motor...

I'd give this a shot in my 18" outrigger build, I think I can fit a 28mm outrunner in!

I'd love to have one, but I don't work for a distribution company. I doubt anyone on here does.

I fit #2 and #3, but not #1.

Looks like 3680-3700KV. 2S might be enough.

^^ It's 2845-3700, no where near a 3680.
