so, what is your question?

If you can, send that one back and trade it for a better vTx. It is only a matter of time until it burns up and fails on you.

I had one like that, btw. Live and learn.

You might try by asking better questions. Have you connected a camera?, do you have a reciever?, do you get video? Have you read the instructions? Kind of hard to tell what your asking.

its all still very new and rapidly advancing. With that said, you should sit back and invest a lot more time to understand what your getting into before ordering things on a whim. Or else you'll likely just crash as soon as you get into the air. At very least, you can pick up some rather decent ready to fly multirotor setups. They aren't cheap, and even they require some patience and research to be successful.

If your not interested in wading through a lot of new and uncertain things, it may not be the hobby for you. You seem as though you may be rushing into things... Even this thread seems like you hit submit before you were quite ready

heck, just put the big honking 500mW, with the crapppy CPU fan on it, on a big balsa glider. Launch it and fly as far as you can till either you lose video image or lose Spektrum signal - 500 metres or so. Then your problems will just fly away and never trouble you again

I will not argue that i more often than not, tend to rush into my projects. And find my self learning the expensive way. Its been a blast though. If i cant figure out why im not getting a video signal to the rx ill sale everything. This is just a hobby. stuff to tinker with when im board. If no one knows exactly what the red light means....then ill let it go and buy some thing else to monkey with.
