Not all the maiden goes well...

E-flite UMX Beast maiden and crash into a tree. Stuck and rescue (6 min 34 sec)

Glad you got her down from the tree!!!..Looks to be good as new...But since you landed 3 times you were not on the maiden but on your third flight------And where do you live???---On one of the fjords of Norway???...Is really that cold and snowy there already???......

It's 63 degrees here now with zero wind---I'm now going to go out in my back yard and fly my UMX AS3X MiG---In a T-shirt, shorts, and flip flop sandals!!!......

how did u manage to dump it in that tree? That plane is so easy to fly

I did that on my fourth flight. But I was flying slow and had trouble turning weeds to hit the throttle . Kept trying to turn away from the tree. Had to use a pole pruner and cut the branch and work it out. A little damage.

I forgot to switch on expo on last flight so when I switched it back on it was far away and I did not see that tree

That explains it. I never use expo on that plane or dual rates. Full throw all the time lol its a blast

I managed to get mine in a tree first flight too Still havent repaired it

yeah, it was hard to notice the plane with all the scenery!

Just a loss of translation to English is my guess---I'm thinking that he was low and slow at the level of the bushes---Went to throttle up and wound up in the trees...

Again---Is this a recent video???...If so, the arctic cold mass has already decended upon Europe...I just saw a forecast through Febuary and it calls for colder than normal weather for our area...Hard to imagine as it's going to be 70* here tomorrow !!!...Today, I flew again in shorts, short sleeve T shirt, and flip flops...The normal high here for this time of year is 58*......

i had a freak dumb thumb on my 6th flight with my new beast and slammed into asphalt! very ugly. i imediately went to the lhs and purchased another! i still need to figure out the parts needed to fix the first one but i have a beast in the meantime. second beast has almost 20 flights and is doing well. i felt like an idiot as it was my last battery of the day. these planes are very fragile.
