For anyone wanting pictures of Devo7 or 8

https://plus.google.com/photos/10498...41783776343761

Sorry the ARM CPU is not clear on the 8. I might try another day to get a better one of that, though even on the originals and even in real life it's a bugger to read. My Canon G9 is great at macro work though so I shall try with that another time.

Anyone wanting originals is welcome to them via email - just PM me with your email address - >10MB attachment limit required.

Awesome, I already tested bmp's and that works fine. If you ever need a hand with that software let me know, what are you writing it in?

rcH4x0r, thanks for the app. I will be sharing my findings also. Also, there is a Jtag port on the main board (DEVO 6). If you brick the USB you can get out of the brick state with the J-tag.

You're welcome, thanks to FDR_ too for help with the strings. It's written in C#, if I have some time I will clean up the source code & release it

It looks like serial wire debug, a more modern replacement for JTAG (oddly the PCB is marked up TMS & TCK)

Looking at all the pics that have been posted (thanks folks) I think the HW willbe quite easy to reverse, the missing part is the protocol stack....

Couple questions... Do you think it is feasible using the protocol stacks from er9x firmware to create a firmware that makes the Devo work with those RXs? And as far as getting Devo protocol there have been others that have mostly figured it out.
