on with the build

well its been well over 2 years and i finally decided to work on this again.
i have the power system in...want to go ahead and see this big one fly....cant seem to remeber what scale it is and where the cg is.
can anyone tell me? i have the plans but failed to put what scale on it.

here are 2 snips from the 100% drawings I have - include the inch scale, cog position etc.

Well....Bad News for the Lightning....... Adjusted the motor angle to cure to much elevator trim...... bad fix it seems!!!

Still.... fixable... update soon....

Tiger Moth maiden went extremely well though........

Servo

Scratching through my box of parts I have found 1 x HXT900 and 2 x HXT500 servos. Will the HXT500's be alright for the ailerons and then I use the bigger one at the back for the elevator?

Personally, I'd use nothing less than a 9-gram servo on any control surface on this one. I use the 500's on my smaller birds, but on bigger ones like this it's 900's only.
