Kevin,
I will be shipping a totally re-made sharky back to you this week, latest by Monday.

Or, if you come down to Kato Fest or go to the HalloWING fool fest, I can deliver it to you receiver-ready and charged.

I just checked. The latest forecast is looking like a possible light wind day at the Bluffs both Saturday and Sunday.

I'll be there too! Yesterday; Saturday; was a good light wind flying. Today I'm expecting (hoping for) more of the same. The forecast has changed a little showing more easterly wind earlier.

I assume most people will be heading down in the afternoon. I will be bringing my new Dream-flight Libelle if anybody wants to take a look. Not sure if I will have it ready to fly.

Dream-Flight is the manufacturer. The Libelle is Dream-Flight's newest model.

Dream-Flight sells direct, but other vendors sell their product line.

**Looks like the Dream-Flight website is undergoing an overhaul.

Sunday turned out better than I expected. When I first arrived the wind sock was blowing down slope, but I could see sail boats out about 1/2 mile sailing in an "on shore" direction breeze. Sure enough by the time I was all set up the wind was up the Bluffs and stayed pretty good for a few hours eventually crossing from the West as it often does. At times the lift was as good as I've ever seen it since I've been flying at this site.

Tom (Sandd) showed up with his QS2 lite. The workmanship was top notch and so was the flying. What a great looking plane both up close and in the air.

Hi Long Beach Sloping Community,
For years I've always wanted to slope at Bluffs Park and will be in LA area this weekend. When will prime time be Saturday or Sunday? Hope to join in the fun.

HERE IS THE WEATHER LINK FOR OUR AREA.
it's not always accurate might be offshore?
when looking at the forecast top of your monitor is north or 180* best is 180* and wind speed 8-10mph for a start.

as to your question people start showing up 12noon to 1:00 and enjoy the day at the Bluff if permitting we fly.. if not sit around and talk ---- and wait for a change...

Had decent air from 1pm - 2pm Saturday then it went northerly. One of the pilots I met there said I should got visit Point Fermin. So I did. Whoa, it was very strong and I had a blast. There were some really fast custom gliders that really got going. It is a bit knarley with the steep 200' cliff to the ocean but what lift!!!! I'll have to visit when they have an organized race next time.

Hey Guys,
Looking at the forecast, it looks like tomorrow, Monday (St. Patrick's Day,) should be perfect conditions at the Bluff. Straight in 14 kts @ 2:00 pm. Gotta work or I'd be down there.
