Housing/Shroud: Where motor is attached, and fan spins freely(we hope), creating gobs, and gobs of much needed thrust....LOL.

737 wing & flaps

Thought I'd share what I'm doing with mine, Still lots to do but this is where I'm at.

Still on the wing Build, Adding nozzles with some Mixing plastic cups, that give perfect nozzle outlet size

My power setup uses 2 Tamjet dynamic balanced CH70mm fans with on Eflite motors with YEP 80A ESC's (The the Tam fans are really silky smooth.. Powered them up & no vibration through entire rpm range)

Yet to do the wing flaps... I've design a fully articulated double split flaps for
both inner & out flaps.. Already cut the flap tracks & other components. Will finish & mount system.
I will need to have a very effective flap system (drops to 60degs & extends the wing chord about inch) for short field landing performance. Will see how it works soon

By the way, there was someone who cut the fuse to lengthened from a 737-700
to a 737-800.. approx. 30 cm longer. Any pictures of the finished model?
Thinking of lengthening mine & wondering what is the best foam to use
