Trailer

I'm not sure if this is the best place to put this thread, but I haven't found a better one. I recently obtained a 6x10 Haulmark enclosed trailer. It does not have a v-nose. Barn doors and a side door. It is a blank slate. I am looking for suggestions on what to include in it. A couple of notes: I fly both electric and nitro. My planes range in size from park flyer foamies to a 1/4 scale spacewalker. The trailer currently has a tie down track system on the floor. The last owner used it to transport his quad.

Some of the things that I have thought of are:
- Outdoor carpet on part of the floor with stick on tile by the side door.
- I was thinking of attaching my charger to the rear doors with a shelf for holding the liPo batteries while charging.
- A 12v car battery for running the charger and a solar charger to maintain the battery.

Any suggestions would be great. Thank you.

I have decided that I am not going with a shelf across the width of the trailer. I am going to make a PVC rack along the left wall for my nitro models. On the right wall (the side with the door) I am putting metal shelves (the kind for closets) up against the wall. They will be mounted flat against it so they cover the wall. I will attach my electric foamies to it using bungie cord or those Velcro loops.

Made some progress today. The trailer is painted and I got the plane racks up. I also put in a fire extinguisher and some racks on the back doors.

This is what I am planning on using for part of the floor. I will use indoor/outdoor carpet tiles in the back part of the trailer.

Ready for the field. Still need to make the bench in the front and put down flooring. Here is my current arrangement for the planes. I may need to take the wings off the bipe for transport but am trying to avoid the hassle.

Carpet is down. The adhesive on the carpet tiles is not enough. I used some contact cement and the carpet is good now.

That's the plan. A work bench up front with battery and inverter under it. I still need to put in the ceiling vent fan and insulate the roof and run LED lighting. There is still quite a bit of work to do but it is coming along. My priority was to get it functional so that I could use it then go back and add the other stuff.

Vents

I installed the solar powered vent and the lower vent today. This should help a lot with temp control in the trailer. I still need to put up the insulation and paint the roof.
