Lol good. I was going to ask you about them but figured you would know yourself as you are not a rookie. Been there done that, the little grey cells between the ears are a little slow waking up at times.

Have fun.

So where do you all get replacement or upgrade parts for the Lama v4 and v3 these days?
Ive seen X Heli has some things still available.

personally, I have enough parts to last into eternity (well, until I fall backwards for the last time anyway ...)
If you are not stocked "up to the teeth", thinkrc is a good place to look I would say, probably helipal ...

I am pretty sure, Microheli still has apmle supply on V4 parts, but you will pay through the nose for it ...

I would also check whats left at Miracle-Mart ....

Those are a few options, I am sure there are still more ... but yes, parts will get/are getting harder to find ....

thanks erdnuckel. Im gonna have to load up on some parts myself soon.

Im wondering now what the position of the Gain and Proportional dials should be, since I've messed with the original settings. Heli seems to want to spin to the right after I tinkered with them dials!
Can't find the original manual unfortunately.

Can't find the original manual unfortunately.
Dialing in is very simple. Turn the pot screw on "both" prop and gain to the highest point. Mark them both. Now turn them to the lowest point. Mark it again. Now turn both pots to "center",,..yup, mark it here too.

Now, fire her up. The first thing you want to do is put the heli in "tail wag". This is done by increasing the gain every so slightly. Once you've reached "tail wag" tone it down by decreasing it. Now, see if your heli will hover "without" turning/spinning " on it's axis. This is where the Prop adjustment comes in. Depending on your brick and age of heli.....if your heli turns CW counter it with CCW with the prop adjustment (again) ever so slightly. You will need to power down and power back up in between every adjust you make on the prop adjustment (very important). *Not so with the gain adjust....No need to power down*

If the turning/spinning gets worst, just dial the prop screw in the same direction the heli is spinning. CW spin=CW adjustment.

The main thing is to obtain "tail wag" first then tame that until it's smooth.

Always make your adjustments in small increments.

Mike.
