Does CG stay the same with a 5000mah battery ? I plan on getting a CZC and have some 3300 5000 sitting around.

Center of gravity never changes. Battery placement will change, based on its weight, to achieve the CG.

With the Morganmill Battery Cartridge system you use Position 8 to achieve ideal balance with a 5000 mah 6S 30 C Zippy.

There is room in the stock plane to move the 5000 oak around but as mentioned earlier the ideal way is the morganmill mount.

Any tips to reduce landing bounce?

I noticed in the videos that the Carbon Z Cubs tends to bounce its landings, and I wonder if you owners can provide any suggestions for reducing or eliminating it.

Soft tires? Ballast? Heavier battery? Long flare?

Any suggestions will be appreciated,

Rock hard light weight foam wheels, and springy music wire landing gear.

Inflateable wheels seems to be a popular mod, from Sig or Sullivan.

There was considerable discussion a few pages in.

Morgan Mill battery box mod

I did not like the Morgan Mill battery box's loose fit so I shimmed it out with to pieces of spruce and now it slides in and locks in with a nice positive feel.Even the locking lever feels more positive.
