Thanks everyone. He is back home, we picked up his son so things are getting partly back to normal. We have one more day here then we have to head back.
Kerwin, that does make sense about kids spreading the germs. There must really be a strong outbreak of the flu out here the way people have been talking. Nate, seems I lost more batteries with my old charger then I do with my new one. I gave my old charger to a friend, and it seems like he is going through more batteries then anyone else. I am starting to think I might invest in a even better charger in the future. Might not even be related, LVC setting and amp draw could be a factor, so many thing. |

Waldo, batteries are just fuel and the amount of flying I have done with those... it works out to less than glow by a long shot.

The pictures of the car are way to graphic for this thread, here is a pic of the loaded rock trailer. Both axles were pushed back against the Doc bracket.

Yeah.... the drivers windshield post folded first as the car went under at the mid point of the trailer. Then when the car met the trucks under the trailer the impact compressed and roled the motor up to the point the top of the engine was near the windshield, rolling the dash board/firewall onto their laps.
When they cut the windshield post and released the front end to fall back forward, the cut opened over 2 feet. The post is a very important part of the safey cage, when it gives prior to the impact, bad things happen. Chris is home with family <was on the passanger side> and Beth is looking at 4-6 month before they think she will be able to start learning to walk again. I honestly and not sure how she could have lived. After seeing the car, I was able to answer many of the questions about some of her injuries. |
