My buddy had the full-scale plans and all the wood bundled in his garage, and we spent the afternoon looking over the plans. The Pete is just a big model airplane, nothing more. Anyone who can handle a third-scale model can build a full-scale woody, it just requires more space (and more money).

Money is always a help!
In the same hanger are also several Super Cubs, Cub Cruisers and other airplanes in various states of (dis)repair.
I was there with a friend picking up a set of wings for his NE1.
