Ok Paul
Got to see the video evidence of your Thursday flights. A friend of mine did the spirit of tas crossing with 7 metre seas then.

55 knots would have only just been enough wind to get the rodent up

S Arm Dunes on Saturday

Wind was good for S Arm on Saturday so I flew my Alula till I broke it and Mustang and Warwick and Craig flew their Wabbits. These are perfect for this spot and I will get one when they are back in stock. Anyone else want to put in an order? We could do slope combat with a bunch of them! We were joined by a hanglider for a while so the Wabbits kept down low and clear.

Saturday maybe?

Tim I'll be down at Cloudy bay on Bruny from the 28th of Dec. There are some nice slopes down there, haven't found any DS sites apart from the neck.

Warwick, Craig and I flew at Opossum bay this arvo. Wind dropped out for a while but we got around 90 min flying in including some combatting. 2 wabbits and my big mustang. I think Craig and i got 2 kills each and Warwick 1.All good fun and I still want a wabbit or maybe 2 with 1 to be for combat.

Dugout; It sounds like Bruny could be a good venue for a SlopeFest. Can you recommend any sites there suitable for flying and landing F3F ships?

Chris, (Southern), it's tempting I saw the new speedo pro with flaps on the r2 site and it looks very nice, but one with bagged wings.... now that would be fun as to actually buying one I think I'll pass for the moment.

Chris, (Northern), plenty of sites at Bruny question is how far do you want to walk? and would sand be a problem? The dunes at the neck and down at Cloudy are good, but sandy. There are some BIG cliffs down to the east of cloudy but they are a fair walk. landings would be into low lying scrub/grass

a spot I would like to have a go at is east of the remarkable caves off the Tasman peninsula out towards crescent bay.
