SR-71 Combat or slope Foamie?

Anyone ever try to make a combat or slope foamie (shaped somewhat to scale) like an SR-71?

The only SR-71 foamie ever produced was this F/F or R/C rocket glider done by HobbyLab about 7-8 years ago. The company is long defunct.

It was about 34" long. Some judicious surgery could really lighten it up and make a decent PSS out of it. It was pretty beefed up with heavy internal rocket tubing for the loads imposed by composite rocket power. It has flown on E, F and G Aerotech motors.

I have some parts that I intend to convert to pusher electric with some kind of brushless screamer in the tail.

I have a friend that still has some remainder inventory of the SR-71, mostly scratch and dent stuff. The website is here:

Check out the UK PSS Association pages and photogallery a Pss should work OK as long as you can keep the forward fuselage light.
