I used some springs from Unistrut clamps on mine... Much better on the four corners.

Hi
here is my cheap solution for a 3kg/6,6lb hexa: custom made Lexan plates and electrical duct tubing
Removing the white PVC white spine, it's possible to retract the legs for transporting
Some sponge isolation tubing will cover the horizontal leg to dampen the landings a little
Weight: 90gr each leg
Cost: maybe 5$

Here is my tricopter sitting on its new feet...

The rear leg mounted using two 3mm screws. I drilled and tapped the arm to accept them.

For the front arms I only used one 3mm screw & a zip-tie.

Almost ready for flight,

You need to get this one. It's stiff and bigger. I bought three different skids from GLB and this one was great. PM me know if you want pictures or a little video of its stiffness lol sounds weird....

Nice, your method for making them is simpler. I'll have to try that if I need another batch. Let me know if you manage to break one
(I think if one does break, it will be where it is bolted to your frame)
