Airfoils can be pretty much anything you want; the exact shape and ratios will depend on the type of flying you want out of it. For example, an aerobatic plane will generally be best with a relatively thick, fully symmetrical airfoil, while a plane built for straight-line speed is best off with a very thin semi-symmetrical foil.

The dirty little secret is that unless you're looking to seriously optimize performance, the airfoil section you use isn't insanely critical. As long as it peaks at around 28-33% back from the LE and "looks right", it should work fine.

There are a number of proven airfoil sections out there that you could make templates from, too.

Well i found a thread on 3d airofils and they reckon 8-10% thickness. Ill draw a couple ip tonight and see how the turn out. The school has a laser printer which ive gotten permission to use so a kit might be what it ends up being.

What do you guys think?!
I flew this plane in a couple of videos for Hobbyking ... It is amazing... Anyone would love it. here's one

But it's smaller, right? This is going to be strictly gym/ outdoors (mostly outdoors at small parks and in my street) so it has to be big enough to see.
