2014 Torrey Pines Schweizer Fun Fly

Several members of the Torrey Pines Scale Soaring Society came together yesterday to enjoy soaring Schweizers together at the historic Torrey Pines Gliderport. Great wind and a nice day had by all. Here are some photos.

Torrey Pines

Great views and beautiful gliders. I would like to visit sometime.
Is there agreements with the hand gliders and paragliders regarding airspace?

Torrey Pines Fun Fly

Gary great pictures and if you have more post them or send them to me. Thanks for taking the time to film the flying. Now we just have to get you flying. Sunday was great as well and so was Monday. Beth and I came down Monday and we were the only ones there. Maybe just a couple of Para Gliders but that was it and the wind was 12 to 14 mph West. Hope you can make it to Visalia for the Spring Tow. Talk with you soon, ML

Great pictures again !

However, I have been following the Schweizer Pictures at Torrey Pines through the years and it amazes me that there are no 1-23`s and/or 1-36īs, for instance ?

It takes me over 2 years now but I hope to finish the (TMRC) 1-36 soon - to join my 4-m 1-23.
