Red dimond Exceed F-18 70mm upgrades
My name is Marc-André and im from New-Brunswick, Canada. Couples months back, i ordered a Exeed F18 70mm. The plane came in as a PNP (servos, Esc, motor already installed). Since we have a lot of snow right now in N-B, I figured that I had enough time to upgrade this thing
Here's my mods:
•Mad. thrust edf 10 blades 3000kv
•Mad. thrust 85amp esc
•Homemade after burner
So the plan is to run my f18 on a 4s lipo 3000mah 14.8v but I need to find a high c rating one.
Now lets talk about my flaps setup. I used two 2.5kg servos and im worried about the flaps not being strong enough to hold up the plane, since the new edf unit is quite more heavy than the stock one. anybody Installed flaps before? And what kind of servos did you guys used?
Tell me what you guys think, and feel free to write a comment/opinion.

It's getting kind of old, (started back in Nov 2010) but must have lots of info -- it's 185 pages long! And 3 pages of attachments--lots of pics.
