I just read "..And on that Bombshell" book written by a Top gear producer. I expected more from it...it was way too vague and most of the book was about the writer's meetings. No good details on the car stunts and was really dissapointed in the lame coverage of that ill-fated trip to Argentina. I really wanted to know more details about that trip.

thouser, check the metal motor mount. There should be no bend. all the angles are controled by the mounting. Mine looked the same after a crash. The mount is pretty soft and bends easily. mount part # is FLZA6031 take a look at it and compare.

I think it may take more than a few washers..The angle looks too severe. If you cant straighten the motor mount or bulkhead I'd make a ply one and the sand it so that when the motor is remounted the angle is reduced.

Another way is using longer screws on the bottom of the mount and inserting metal or plastic tubes to the size you need.(stand off tubes). This way you can adjust the tube length until you are happy with how it flies.

These are ready made in different sizes. Hope that helps.
