What's your set up on 5s mate? This is the only fmsbird I've left stock, (the rest get a mixture of 5s and 6s with the 4258-550), but left this one stock just because it's such a sweet flyer as is. (Imho). got any vid by chance?

Mines all stock with the gold motor although I did chuck in a 80amp ESC. I generally don't modify my planes as I like to fly them as scale as I can and the Zero does it very well

I really like your plane. It is the best I have seen. I like light weathering as well. My P40 has light weathering which looks really good in reality, but hardy showed in a photo at all. I'm not sure why. Still it is when you are standing beside that counts.
My zero will get the light weathering as well.

I'd imagine the zero would be very nice on 5s. Good to hear you've had success with the stock motor, a few guys have lost a magnet with the combo in p51s.

Hey Shirty. I have a version 1 FMS Zero with the original red 500kv motor. Upgraded Turnigy 55amp ESC. She runs exclusively on a 5S, 2700mAh battery. Performance is great on 5s. Low amp draw too. Only 44amps at WOT.

@Seacondor No way! Have you seen the other's here lately? Their Zero's kick my plane's butt! Mine doesn't show that well either, but in person it's very evident

@Shirty My Zero is a bit slow compared to others in my squadron.. We have the same setup, but different models of Castle ESC. I got the Castle ICE, while they're on Castle Edge. My dad's Zero is also a slow poke with his Scorpion ESC. Everyone has stock propellers, and motors. The only difference we all have are the ESC's.

What I did to compensate for my loss of power is change my throttle curve to have 70% input by half stick, that way it gives me power. If you guys could give me any suggestions it would be great. My guts tell me it has something to do with the ESC settings.
