Umx f-16

On the first page of the E-Flite website today there is this photo of an UMX F-16. Clicking on it does not show anything about it.
"Search" shows nothing about it.

I WANT ONE if:
1) It has a huge ducted fan with plenty of thrust so the RC airplane can climb vertically like the real one. Lots of GRUNT!
2) It can also fly slowly with a high angle of attack.
3) 2S brushless motor.

It is not on the E-Flite website anymore. I guess someone posted its photo too soon.

I think its the same 28mmEDF 2S plane like the Habu and Mig and there is not enough power for high AoA and unlimited vertical.
Some have flown the Habu with 3S and power and speed was incredible (Bearings and ESC maybe a little weak for 3S)

Having flown both the UMX Mig and Habu at altitude I'm less than impressed with the 2S setup. This needs to have a 3S power plant or it's a miss for me.

Does anybody know the thrust produced by the 28mmEDF?
If the fan has low pitch on its blades then the thrust would be more and the max speed might be less.

I only have experience with the UMX Mig from a few years ago. I love it, still have mine, and I've cut back on the flights, since its not available anymore. Ive never been fond of the Habu, so V1 or V2 have never interested me. But an F-16 certainly does. It won't have unlimited vertical, and that's fine.... honestly the UMX edfs are so small, if it had unlimited vertical, I'd lose it.

It looks like taileron control. So it will be plenty of fun. And I'm more surprised that there hasn't been much in the form of mods for the 28mm eflite EDF to make them a little more powerful.

A 3S setup would add far too much weight for this size, and likely won't find a motor that can handle it for more than a handful of flights

Wow! Good find!

I've really been wanting something new from HH in the UMX range. Having the Mig and Habu though I would be disappointed if this doesn't have something new and exciting with regard to its power plant or something else.

Without that it's really just another "me too" UMX product. BUT.... I'll still probably get one... so sad.

Did anyone catch that this most likely doesn't have ailerons?

Or just doesn't show up in the picture. Doesn't make any sense to have an EDF trainer without SAFE OR dihedral if there are no ailerons.

Didn't the Phase 3 F-16 just have 2 servos just for tail?

Maybe it's an "ultra micro umx" with a 1s brushless setup!

it's back up on the e-flite website with photos and info

EDIT: Whoa? If you click on "gallery" instead of "multimedia" to view pics of this F-16:

Some pics are slightly different, especially the last one...
