I plan to go out to the Washington Sport field today at 1:00. Anyone care to join. Larry and I were out there last week and the flying was great. My Yak3D performed quite nicely in a larger venue.

I talked to Dave today, and Linda is awake and able to talk, is alert and able to recognize people. She is however, unable to move most of her body at this point. Her white blood cell count is also very high and she is fighting an infection. She is still not out of the woods, and will have a long recouperation period. There is nothing we can do for Linda or Dave at this point other than keep up the prayers. I didn't ask about visitation, but I assume Dave will let us know when it will be OK to stop in and see Linda.

Happy Birthday Larry. Did you get any new planes for your birthday? Thanks for the report Joe. We will all be praying and thinking good thoughts for Linda. Get ready for snowmageddon

Happy birthday Larry. Your presence in our group is more than just another body, but proud to refer to you as friend.

Dave, would love to visit you. Both of you are in our hearts and prayers. Maybe you could use a nice home cooked meal right about now.

Keep Looking Up,
Ken

Been intrigued by a new model that Eflite is coming out with this spring called the Whipit. It is a UMX Discus Launch Glider, and is very attractive. So I started sketching up a 32" version for 3.7-5g servos and our 300 mAh 2s batteries.

Could be some great fun for some late afternoon/early evening thermal hunting.
