Summitspur;
Welcome to RCG! Is it a human sized merry go-round? Check your local yellow pages for an electric motor repair shop. I had my 5000 watt gas generator rotor re-wound for $400 a few years back. EC Company, http://www.ecpower.com/Locations/ Just occurred to me, you may be asking about fixing a christmas decoration. It may just require a new motor. Can you post a photo of the broken parts? That looks like a fairly common synchronous timing motor as used in a lot of small appliances, and 5/6 rpm would be about the speed used for the turntable on microwave ovens. You might search your local yellow pages for a local mom and pop appliance parts store. If not you could order one off Ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Robust-Small...item23257183c7

It is actually an electric clock motor, that's what it had originally been used in back to the 70's.
Find some here: http://AllElectronics.com |
