New Product
Mega Speed Shark (1M) by Nanoplanes.net **Maiden Video**

Before you start blowing up Dave's mail with orders, know that this is a prototype, and that the production kits are pending the success of this build.
I will say it all looks good and should go together the same as the smaller Speed Shark.
The motor is a new Microdan 2510-3100kv, to be run on 4s.
I see this built and covered by weekend..
Here are the parts..

added vid to front..

Mega Speed Shark 1M prototype (5 min 9 sec)

Here is a few hrs later!
With record low temps here, I will hurry to sanding this evening.
A high of 73 when it should be 100+??

Ztw Mantis 65 with D60s.

Not much more room..
The plane is stretched but not thickened.
2200 4s batteries should slide forward easier for cg.
This kit is light and stiff..
I am guessing 22-23.5ounce auw.. which makes it lighter loaded than smaller SS.

Taking my time. 90% sanded and weighing 7.5 oz, or 1.5 oz more than my last Speed Shark at this stage.
At 21.5oz auw, this will be light!
I will have this flying as soon as the rest of the gear arrives..

The nose is too short.. it is designed around the Microdan 2510 outrunner motor.
One could modify to fit inrunners with advanced building skills.

The speed shark was such a fun build, really looking forward to sanding out one of these. Daves designs are truly a builders dream....

I would rather not try and reinvent the wheel .
the micro dan motor isn't expensive so , I can use the inrunner I have on something else . .

Looking good so far! Thanks again Mike!

Nothing is locked in stone at this point so keep in mind the specs and recommendations could change. I've also got to build one of these prototypes but looks like I'm a bit slower than Mike on getting this going.. =)

Also the MicroDan motor is also a prototype too so there are still lots of things to test and figure out. I'm trying to keep costs low enough to keep things real, Plus I put many of our other kits on sale too so this will be as reasonable as I can make it.

Thanks for the interest guys, I'll try to move this project along as quickly as I can.
