New Product
EZUHF JR Module Transmitter

Looks like this will be available in a few weeks and is good for those of us with a Taranis, 9XR or other tx with a JR module bay. Seems like good value and I presume you can use the existing EZUHF receivers including their low cost 4 channel.

From http://www.getfpv.com/ezuhf-jr-module-transmitter.html
"
Details

A long-awaited module, compatible with most radios which use the 'JR' module standard, including the 9XR, and the new Taranis. Same features as its big brother, but without the cabling, nor external batteries.
Features

500mW of EzUHF Power
JR Module, compatible with the Hobby King 9xR, and the FrSky Taranis
Headtracker port, capable of powering a headset
Highlow power switch
100% compatible with all EzUHF Receivers
Reliable FHSS Link (Frequency Hopping, Spread Spectrum)
433MHz/70cm Ham band operation
GFSK modulation
Standard SMA antenna connector, compatibility with 70cm antennas
Standard USB port for firmware upgrades, and system configuration
Single pushbutton learning of failsafe positions
Binding function, which allows binding Single Tx>Rx, Multi Tx>Rx, and Single Tx>Multi Rx
Mates with all EzUHF receivers

But there’s more, as all EzUHF products feature a USB connector which, in combination with our application software, will allow you to set up your receivers in just the way you like. Mikrokopter mode, the cloning of channels, diagnostics, firmware updates, etc. etc. all available with the click of your mouse or a press of a button, no soldering required, nor any fancy nonstandard cable. Convenient, simple and intuitive, leaving you with more time to enjoy your flying, rather than spending hours or days setting up your equipment.

All of that and many, many more upcoming features which further allow integration of our products and turn the electronics powering your FPV plane into a reliable, rock solid, but above all a plug ‘n fly solution that you get to enjoy every time you fly.

Link you have wasn't working for me, try this:
http://www.getfpv.com/ezuhf-jr-module-transmitter.html

That's AWESOME though, I literally just ordered a 9X and this could definitely be an option for my in the future if I want to do some longer FPV flying.

Thanks had a stray colon on end of the url, now fixed! It looks like a sweet new module with a good reputation for the other EZUHF gear.

antenna

I placed my order for one at RMRC, does anyone know if they ship with an antenna, or do you need to buy one separately?

My guess would be that they will provide, if anything, a small whip antenna, but for any performance you'll want to upgrade to a larger one like a regular UHF system.

yep, watched the video
ez-uhf was just (easy to use)

Dragon-Link had the most rang but 900mhz and 1.3ghz where affect, they recommended 5.8ghz or 2.4ghz for it

They did plug the open-LRS and said it was a good system and worth looking at
this was before the 1watt version I believe, I would love to see them do it again with the 1watt version

differences

Are there any advantages to getting the module over the regular ezuhf tx? Besides the price? There must be something different if it is 2x the price... Just wanted to know.

The std module is 600mW. Range difference should be negligible.
