Very nice build so far. I'll be watching. It's always nice to see people are still scratch building nowadays.
I've always been a fan of the Spitfire. Something about the Elliptical wing just sets it off. Not too mention, the Spitfire is an excellent flying plane.

Looking good, so far. Building from plans - the way of the future. LHS's must be wondering why all the renewed interest in balsa. The second wave is coming.

FP10 - stick to glow... My 2 cents, or rupees.

Cheers PG

Looks good so far.

The canopy is not very true to scale though (?), they all had the flat front I think, while the top had different heights?

The front was a piece flat bullet proof glass.. A.C.M Sir H. Dowding argued with the powers that were.... "If the gangsters in Chicago can have bullet proof windshields, why can't my pilots?"

May I ask why you chose to remake the canopy?
