Turns out I may have spoke too soon. Tried it again tonight, this time I let it get more satellites locked (last time was 3, this time 6). Flies terribly with enough satellites locked for the GPS hold to work. Motors sputtering, fell out of the sky with no recovery, etc.

Basically feels like the GPS hold is conflicting with something and the board can't manage it. It also seems like the altitude hold is affected, does MultiWii 2.4 try to use GPS for altitude as well?

I did get a full pack through it without GPS mode turned on without issue, but every time I tried to flip on GPS hold it instantly freaked out.

Does anyone have GPS working well with a Quadrino Zoom on 2.4? Care to share setup details in case I'm missing something obvious?

Will GPS and RTH work with baro disabled?

Hopefully someone still monitors this thread and has an answer for me. I'm trying to set up my (old/original) Quadrino board for Spektrum Satellite. I've changed the sketch to activate Spektrum 1024 (for my DSM satellite). I'm not sure where I'm supposed to connect the satellite signal line. The sketch says RX0, but I can't find a labelled RX0 port on the board. Is there a place to tap a Spek Satellite signal lead to the FC?

The spektrum satellite will use the Serial port. You connect it to the RX pin of the serial port and on the Quadrino original there is only one serial port (since using a pro mini). Be careful not to power the satellite with 5V.

Thanks. That's where I've been trying to connect my satellite and the FC does not seem to recognize it. I've set the sketch for Spektrum 1024 connection (DSM2 satellite). Oh well, no problem. It's for a frame I'm thinking of selling. It works fine on PWM or PPM input.

Try the other settings, not 1024.

Thanks Dialfonzo. I just sold the FC and frame set up with a Spektrum Rx with PWM connections, no worries now.
