Cool
Aircore Spitfire and Zero 4s!!

This is the first application of 4s I have seen in a micro under 5 oz!
These Aircore warbirds are open to whatever gear you may choose and I have perfected a cheep formula for success..
(This is my 6th.)
Aircore Spitfire. $45
HK 2211 2300kv motor, $9
R415 rx $10
HK 1.9g digital servos $43
Plush 10 esc $9
Admiral 250 3s. $5
Nanotech 300 2s x2 $8 (4.5 oz auw/12oz thrust!)

It takes a few hrs to cut up the insides, but the result is an attractive, lightly loaded, ultra high performance micro for $100.
Many LHS are carrying these..

I have the 109 and it's great stock. That said, I like how you've wrung out the potential of the airframe with a permanent install (and no more "crumbly"landings). Any more pics/details on your conversion?

Thanks!
The plush 10 esc will run 2-4s,
2s is lighter and more powerful than stock.
3s setups using 250mah are stock weight with 60% more thrust.
**A whole 15 grams is removed from nose**
Yes, there is 3 of those 5 gram ballast slugs!
Other foam and tray removal takes out weight.
4s gives it cartoon like power at will.
Nothing gets hot.
Vid to come..

The Nanotech 300 "stick" 2s are glued together and soldered in series. No balance plugs.
These 35-70c batteries have held up fine to the demand.. after a year of 2s micro duty.
They flew an AC Zero and Mustang also.

Does your esc handle 4s AND supply power to the rx/servos?

Does the plush 10A have a micro connector to the rx?

Yes, I saved a connector from a failed servo.
The esc is rated up to 4s and never fails running bec with even bigger digital servos.
3x3g servos max.

Zero

Since my bud has his over engineered Mustang, we needed an opponent.. my 4s Zero!
This Zero is two crashed ones pieced together with the same gear as Spitfire.
4s causes wicked howl of 5x3" gws.
It runs smooth while stressing the prop to sound like something mean.
The Mustang is truly a wonder.
It uses 5x4.3" on a 2500 kv Microdan motor, Castle esc, and TP 325 3s 70c for speed and thrust. Add AR6335 rx and digital servos for tech.
He has the engineering and top speed, I have pure power and the best flying of the series.
Take note.. the Zero is the best flying and least likely to nose over.
Zero shown with 250 3s..
