how to save hundreds dollars from blades strikes

hahah i am a smart cocky hehehhehehhh and cost you nothing

what ya do is you bolt your top blade over ya your blade grips and your bottom blades under the bottom blade grips as well. and with ya broken blades dont chuck em out. you cut the ends of em and put them in the blade gap so use them as spaces where your blades use to go. heheheheh

and if ya really clever just make up a bracket to go under the blades so it looks standard out of abit of plastic not hard to do

with this mod you can fly out side at any speed you want in any wind

i put me battery forward and get speeds so good you start to think why do i need to upgrade my chopper thease lama v4s are so much fun with this mod

next shorting ya stabelizer bar and you have a awesome heli

I don't know?? How much does this really increase the distance between the blades? Sounds like it could also affect the tracking. Lets see some pics and video.

Wouldn't a longer inner shaft accomplish the same thing?

I don't think that this is a good idea, because if you mount your blades not in line with the feathering shaft the cyclic input will not turn the blades around their axis but rock it back and forth more like a pendulum. This increases the load on every moving part, i.e. the linkages, swash, servos and may even introduce vibration everytime when you apply cyclic. I think, the longer inner shaft is definitely the more appropriate solution.

Mike

Sorry! I was merely trying to offer an explanation for your unusual speech mannerisms and slang. It seemed too colloquial to be mainstream Australian English. But, I have no idea what it is you are saying.

What size bolts? Do you think I should use fender washers with the bolts?
I save all my blades!
This is similar to my chopper but mine is hopped up a bit more. WOW she really screams: http://www.helicoptersonly.com/index1.html
